We make every effort to quote accurately but we can only base our quote on the information supplied by the customer, if the job turns out to be larger than we were led to believe, we will increase the bill accordingly.
All items that are to be moved need to be clearly labelled including where they are to be put at the delivery address.
All items to be moved need to be clean.
If we are not happy that things are clean, we will not move them.
Payment is due at the end of the job, on the day of the job by cash, card or bank transfer.
We will not move anything that we consider to be too heavy or too dangerous, we do not move hazardous materials, or animals. We do not move Pianos.
We do not carry passengers in the van.
We will not enter loft spaces.
We do not remove windows and do not move furniture through windows.
It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange parking for the van, as close as possible to the collection & delivery address, if parking is controlled by a private company, it is the customer’s responsibility to make the necessary arrangements to allow us to park the van.
It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that items being delivered will fit through doors, up stairs and into the area in which they are to be placed, whilst we will make every effort to move furniture through tight spaces, we will not do so if we believe there to be a risk to property or personnel.
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if a job needs to be moved or cancelled, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation charge if this does not happen.
